School, Ice Cream Making, and Shoes

A big part of my life is school. So I thought I would take some pictures and show a little about my schooling. As most of you should know, I'm home schooled, and I love it. I also have a the great privilege of homeschooling with G. She so fun! I am a freshmen. I am currently taking French which is fun!

Also, this evening my dad made homemade vanilla ice cream with Madagascar fresh vanilla. He's such a cool dad. So here some pictures of the process.

Today, Mom and I were going shopping for some stuff and Mom accidentally turned early and we ended up by a shoe store. So we decided to go in and look around. We ended up buying two pairs of shows each. Mom bought a pair slip-ins and a pair of boot. I bought a pair of boots and a pair of sneakers. I have been wanting boots for so long and now, thanks to mom, I have some. Here are some pictures of my new shoes I am so excited!

 My new sneakers!

 There are REALLY comfortable!

A Snow Storm and Some Basketball

So this week, we got snow, lots of snow, actually, 6 inches of snow and ice. It started Thursday afternoon, and kept snowing till that evening. Susan and I went out in all of our snow gear and played with Shadow. Who wasn't interested in us, but in the hunk of bread she brought home that morning after running away. What a bad dog. We aren't quite sure if she took it out of some one's trash or if someone gave it to her because they felt bad for her or if they just weren't sure about her or what. Although the bigger mystery is why she didn't gobble it down when she got it, but instead brought it home like a toy? Anyway, she's a crazy dog!
Not taken by Me!
This past Friday and Saturday, my basketball team went to the State Tournament and got 3rd place! It was fun especially because G. came down with us! G., for those who are missing out on knowing her, is a vivacious, silly girl, who homeschools with us. She is supposed to be in the 5th grade but she's at about a 2nd grade level in reading and math. So my mom, admirably, offered to take G. out of school and homeschool her until she catches up. G. is overall a fun loving, friendly, energetic girl who lives in our old neighborhood! The main reason she wanted to come this weekend is because our hotel had a pool! We had a lot of fun and played hard. I took a couple of shots and made a few. So overall a very fun and tiring weekend! On the way, the road were still hazardous and we saw a Jeep flip over. Just saying wear your seat belts and be careful when your driving, you never know!

That's pretty much it for now. Recently, I have been listen to some new artists including Megan and Liz, The Civil Wars, Tegan and Sara, and Florence + The Machine. You should check them out!

My New Blog

So...here it is, (drum roll please), my new blog! Since I can't log into my other blog for some reason, I made this blog. Hopefully, I will be posting at least every other day. Here's some stuff that happened since my last post. I went on an awesome trip to Europe with my family. In which we went to Italy, France, England, Spain, and Switzerland. My favorite place was probably Switzerland. It was like we were in the Sound of Music, so beautiful. The best food was in Italy and France. My favorite dish I had in them were a seafood pasta with Gnocchi noodles which we ate in Rome and scrumptious crepes in Paris. I turned 15 and thus got my permit and have been driving to church and other such places. I'm in high school. The main things I have been doing are babysitting and school. Well, here are some picture por vous. (Also I'm learning French)
This is a picture of Eiffel Tower. And yes, it WAS taken by one of my family members. Susan had a hard time believing that although it was probably her who took it.

This is us chillaxing on our terrace in Italy enjoying pretzel sticks!

This is one of the mountains in Switzerland. Beautiful right?! Also I don't know if I mentioned this but my awesome Dad and I climbed to the top of one of the mountains. We were feeling pretty adventurous. We had to climb over a waterfall which was cold! We also climbed over a 1,000 ft drop using a cable, fun times!

More of beautiful Switzerland. My dad took this picture, I think, whoever did, good job!

This is what I will end with, it's a picture of me in England. I was picking wildflowers. There will be more coming soon!
