When the Lonely Meet

Lonely. Surrounded by tons of people. But. Lonely.
A People Person. Surrounded by tons of people. But. Searching.
Talkative. Surrounded by tons of people. But. Quiet.
An Extrovert. Surrounded by tons of people. But. Introverting.
Lonely. Surrounded by tons of people. But. Lonely.

Until…

Together. Two Women. And. Together.
The smell of beignets. Two Women. And. Conversation.
Luku* Learning. Two Women. And. Laughter.
Italian Culture. Two Women.  And.  Discoveries.
Together. Two Women. And. Together

  1. Very evocative. So many obstacles to making friends. Very glad you're working on it.

  2. Love this. So true all over the world and in every new situation. People long for connection. Connection takes effort, careful reaching out. It costs time, gifts, vulnerability. But so worth it when one finds that spark, that warmth, that freedom, that fire of understanding and laughter. You can do this if anybody can, Nancy girl.
